This was from the Fox pedal to the metal tour. If you’ve been breathing and had a pulse lately you know that Aitken’s in bad shape. There’s still a fund up at 5050bmx.com, does anyone have the motivation to do some kind of benefit up here? Anyone have good ideas for something we could do to help out?

hiatus?

Just a quick note, I do plan on making some updates soon. I have a professional exam in a couple weeks so I’ve been extremely busy, once that’s over I’ll get some more content up.

snow day

Winter came a little early… well, a lot early. Winter means a few things around here… editing video, tracking down street spots that are dry (this usually involves a shift back to midtown), looking for warehouse space for a couple days and realizing that we’re too poor, and hopefully some snow jumping. It’s not nearly as good as summer, but it’s always an adventure. Time to take my brakes off.

tomorrow

Tomorrow looks like it’s shaping up to be a nice day. Don’t forget to show up for a big session. Looks like the Fleagles are down here for a bit, those dudes got an apartment and are ready to shred the slightly milder Anchorage winter. Darryl Trump aka the David Clay of Fairbanks is down right now as well and I just talked to some other Fairbanks notables who may be making the trip this weekend. A trails session should hopefully get started by noon and then possibly Girdwood.

anyone have a back wheel lying around?

Tim Fleagle, aka the best moustached bmxer in Fairbanks, needs a back wheel. If you’ve got a spare and can hook a guy up, leave a comment. Those guys have been down here a ton lately and it’s been rad.
