Darrell and I are going to find some time over the next couple of days to finish his video part. I am really looking forward to it.

I set up an online store here for the shirts. Keep in mind that I’ll be on the road July 3rd to 27th, so it may take me an extra day or two to find internet connections and post offices. There is a permanent link on the sidebar.

new shirts

Figured I’d better post some info on these…. They are here, they look amazing, and they’ll cost 15 dollars if you want one (that’s a little bit less than most t-shirts on dans, and about half what you would pay for a shirt in Canada). I’ll try to get a store up if I have time, otherwise you can e-mail me (it’s in the contact link on the side) or find me when I drive across the country. I have mediums and larges right now, black on white, and the fit is about the same as American Apparel shirts.

This photo brings up the usual questions when Darrell is riding… Where did he come from? Where is he going? How did he get that high? Saturday we had a trail session and Darrell went so high that his bike broke.

sequence + jam update

Steve Heilman shot this sequence. We’ll be opening up the trails around 7 tomorrow and riding into the night. It’s my last weekend here so all you guys should come out, even if it’s just to hang out and ride the little stuff. The new shirts should be here today.

demo saturday

David organized a demo for Saturday at this thing called the Southside Block Party. Everything starts at 10 a.m. at 801 East 82nd, which is behind the strip mall with the Baskin Robbins on Dimond. It looks like Dane and the motocross guys will be there, along with a bunch of car stuff if you’re into that kind of thing. Block party to me implies free food, and afterwards we should have a big session at the trails. I’ll volunteer to fix the step-up for those of you who don’t like the big ones.

I’ll be in places that don’t really have the internet for a lot of the next week and a half. Someone else post something? I’ve got a couple videos sitting on my computer that I’ll try to get up when I get back, my internet connections have been horrible and it’s taken multiple attempts so far… that’s Alaska for you though.

contest at wasilla skatepark

Kaleb Paulus sent me a text saying there’s a comp at Wasilla at 3:00 today. I’m not sure why they would have a contest in the middle of the workday, but head out there if you can, I’m sure it’ll be a good time.
