Posted in Uncategorized on February 16, 2010 by AaronSean Fairbank shot this photo of me at the Hospital in Nelson. Andrew described it as “everyone in town’s first rail” or something like that. This is the kind of rail I like. It was also convenient as Ridgeway was in the hospital at the time getting the most ridiculous swellbow I’ve ever seen taken care of.

Posted in Uncategorized on February 16, 2010 by AaronCaleb Evenson has a new blog up called I Lived in a Van. If you can’t tell from the title, he’s a pretty awesome dude. We met up with caleb in Portland on labor day weekend, and he’s one of the most content bike riders I’ve ever met – always smiling. Anyways, keep an eye on his blog, it should be a good read.
old mat hoffman videos
Posted in Uncategorized on February 10, 2010 by AaronA few days ago I saw an old video of Jay Miron on feeble that launched me into the depths of youtube. As it turns out, there are tons of rad old Hoffman videos floating around. It’s interesting watching the guy in his prime, before some of the surgeries and major injuries. I always thought he ripped the hardest towards the end, probably peaking in his Props 50 bio, but it’s just not that easy to define a peak for that guy. For years, he literally defined what was going on in bmx. There were other dudes pushing things for sure, but (to put it in today’s terms) he was the Garret Reynolds of everything but flatland for at least ten years. There’s a bunch of stuff below, including early Haro demos, the first flair, and the worlds from 15 years ago.
